Pipe Webinar Series – PE100RC and relevance to the future AS/NZ PE pressure pipe product standards

The second webinar in the pipe webinar series was held on the 25th August  2022.

Dr. Predrag Micic shared valuable insights on PE100RC – a new class of PE100 resin with High Stress Crack Resistance, enabling the use of less conservative pipeline design safety factors in trenchless installations, thereby reducing material usage and shortening pipe installation time.

The webinar discussed the changes to the standards with the introduction of PE100RC specification including implications for AS/NZS4131/4130. The presentation also covered testing requirements to meet the new specifications.
